Ghana Launches Christian Honours Platform for Faith Leaders

Ghana has unveiled Christian Honours, a national platform celebrating Christian leaders, organizations, and institutions whose faithful service has strengthened communities over the past 35 to 40 years.

MF Production launched the initiative to honor those whose consistent character and meaningful contributions often go unrecognized. Unlike traditional award shows, this platform focuses on sustained impact rather than fleeting fame.

"Christian Honours is not about fame, popularity, or public applause," said Kofi Kpodo, Executive Director of the Christian Honours Secretariat. "It is a sacred platform of recognition dedicated to celebrating service, impact, and enduring integrity."

The platform centers on three guiding principles: reputation built through consistent service, recognition based on genuine impact, and integrity as the foundation of leadership. These pillars will guide every honoree selection.

To maintain credibility, an independent ethics panel called I-PURE will verify all nominations. The panel ensures honors are awarded based on defined standards rather than personal interests or influence.

The 2026 ceremony will feature twelve categories spanning compassion, education, healthcare, evangelism, performing arts, and influential personalities. One category recognizes African Christian leaders, while another honors posthumous contributions.
