Ghana MP Donates Laptops to Winneba Police Headquarters

Police officers in Winneba, Ghana, just received the digital tools they need to serve their community better.

Alexander Afenyo-Markin, who represents the Effutu constituency in Parliament, donated laptop computers to the Winneba Divisional Police Headquarters in the Central region. The laptops will help officers receive, process, and store information more efficiently, making it easier to prevent crime and keep residents safe.

The donation reflects Afenyo-Markin's ongoing commitment to strengthening public services in his district. He's already working on multiple projects to improve police operations, including expansion works at the headquarters and new facilities for officers.

During the presentation, Afenyo-Markin shared updates on other construction projects in progress. An accommodation facility for police personnel is almost finished, and a brand new Divisional Police Headquarters in Gyangyanadze is well underway.

Divisional Commander ACP Ibrahim Opoku accepted the laptops on behalf of the police command. He thanked the MP for his continued support and promised the equipment would be put to good use.
