Hagerstown Volunteers Beautify Downtown for Earth Day

There's something special about neighbors coming together to make their town more beautiful, and that's exactly what's happening in Hagerstown, Maryland this week.

Downtown Hagerstown Main Street and the Hagerstown Youth Council are hosting two planting events to celebrate Earth Day and refresh the city center with colorful spring flowers. The first event kicks off April 22 from 1 to 4 p.m. on Franklin Street, with a second session scheduled for April 25 from 9 a.m. to noon at Market Walk.

Volunteers of all ages are welcome to help plant flowers, refresh existing planters, and spruce up public spaces throughout downtown. The initiative brings together Downtown Hagerstown Main Street, Good News Hagerstown, and the Hagerstown Youth Council in a coordinated effort to brighten the community.
