Harry Potter Cast Reunites After 25 Years at Hogwarts Set

The magic is alive again as the beloved Weasley family stepped back onto the Hogwarts sets where it all began 25 years ago.

Bonnie Wright, James and Oliver Phelps, and Mark Williams reunited at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London to celebrate a quarter century since Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone first enchanted audiences. The actors who played Ginny, Fred, George, and Arthur Weasley surprised delighted visitors touring the authentic film sets.

"Being back on the set reunited with Bonnie and Mark has been absolutely superb," Oliver Phelps shared. "It's like coming into a time warp, like no time has passed at all since we were last together."

The reunion kicked off a special summer feature called "First Year at Hogwarts" running through September. Fans can experience classic moments from Harry's first year, including new attractions like a Wizard's Chess photo opportunity with moving pieces and demonstrations of how Quidditch scenes came to life.

Mark Williams summed up the feeling perfectly: "I love coming back to the wizarding world." The actors walked through the sets they once called home, sharing behind-the-scenes stories and reliving the magic that launched one of cinema's most beloved franchises.

The Ripple Effect

A survey of over 700 UK adults revealed what makes this anniversary so special. The top favorite scene remains Harry receiving his Hogwarts letter at Privet Drive, followed by his first wand selection at Ollivanders and meeting the Weasleys at Platform 9¾.

Art Director Gary Tomkins, who helped create the original Hogwarts castle model still on display today, captured why these reunions matter. "It feels fantastic to see so many of the crew and actors back on the sets we all worked on all those years ago," he said. "It really keeps the magic alive."

The celebration proves that some stories transcend time, bringing together generations of fans who found wonder in a boy wizard's journey from under the stairs to Hogwarts.
