"Harry Styles, this message is for you," Denis would say to the camera in his high-visibility vest. "I'm running the length of the U.K., and I need your help. Come run with me! We're doing it for mental health and everyone we've lost."

While Harry Styles didn't immediately respond, fans of the marathon-running pop star found the videos endearing. They joked that Styles might actually cancel his Wembley Stadium residency to join Denis.

After 43 hours of running, Denis learned that Styles had donated £2,000 under the name "Together Together." A video of Denis discovering the donation went viral, showing him bent over crying with Styles' "Sign of the Times" playing softly.

"I set myself at £8,000 because I thought it was a bit unrealistic," Denis said through tears. "Thank you Harry and Harry's team. I'm a bit speechless."
