Hopkinton Teen Achieves D1 Baseball Dream at UConn

Lucas Hodne has dreamed of playing Division 1 baseball since childhood, and the Hopkinton native just made it happen. The high school athlete recently committed to play baseball at the University of Connecticut, checking off the first of his two big league dreams.

Since he was a little kid, Hodne carried two specific goals: play Division 1 baseball and get drafted by a major league team. Now he can cross the first one off his list with his recent commitment to UConn's baseball program.
