Novartis is developing its entire US marketing platform in Hyderabad. Gail Horwood, the company's chief marketing officer, explained that the city's team builds AI-powered marketing tools using large language models and behavioral science that reach customers across physical and digital channels.

Takeda went even further. Sanjay Patel, who leads the company's innovation capabilities globally, said India has become their flagship innovation location worldwide. The AI work coming from their Hyderabad center now touches research, quality management, and professional support across the company.

Olympus Corporation now considers India central to its global digital strategy. Syed Naveed, the company's chief technology officer, emphasized that building innovation-focused centers requires cultural transformation and sustained commitment over time.

Badhri Srinivasan from Unilabs highlighted that companies are creating secure environments in Hyderabad where teams can safely experiment with AI technologies, especially important in highly regulated healthcare settings. This means Indian engineers and data scientists are solving some of healthcare's toughest challenges.

The city's rise also demonstrates how AI is democratizing innovation geography. Cutting-edge healthcare technology no longer needs to be developed only in traditional hubs like Silicon Valley or Switzerland. Talent and infrastructure in cities like Hyderabad can compete on the global stage.
