Skye Air Mobility unveiled a fully autonomous drone delivery system at the India AI Impact Summit in New Delhi this week. Working with partners Arrive AI and Ottonomy, the company demonstrated how aerial drones work seamlessly with ground robots to deliver packages without any human assistance.

The numbers tell an impressive story. In just two years, the system has already completed 3.6 million successful deliveries across India. Each flight means one less delivery van burning fuel on congested city streets.

The environmental impact adds up fast. By replacing traditional vehicle deliveries, these drones save over 1,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions every single year. That's equivalent to taking hundreds of cars off the road permanently.

The drones can carry packages up to 10 kilograms, making them perfect for retail goods, medical supplies, and everyday purchases. CEO Ankit Kumar explains that the payload capacity covers most common delivery needs while keeping the system efficient and sustainable.
