During productive meetings on Wednesday, the QpiAI team shared their ambitious vision with Minister Kharge: scaling from their current 25-qubit quantum computer to an impressive 1,000-qubit system within just two to three years. The state government has shown strong commitment to this vision by recently announcing a Centre of Excellence in Quantum AI and Computing at IIIT-Dharwad. Singapore-based company ZWEEC, which specializes in advanced water technology solutions, is in discussions to partner with Karnataka's rural water supply and sanitation department.

ZWEEC brings innovative solutions for early detection of drinking water contamination, algal blooms, and intelligent monitoring of water infrastructure through automated and data-driven technologies. These cutting-edge tools could transform rural drinking water systems, ensuring safer and more reliable water access for communities that need it most.

The government plans to carefully evaluate these technologies and explore pilot projects in partnership with the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Department.
