Indian Girls Lead 94% Pass Rate in Tamil Nadu Exams

Thousands of students across Tamil Nadu just proved that dedication and hard work pay off in the most inspiring way possible.

Cuddalore district celebrated a 94.22% pass rate on the State Board Class 10 examinations this year. Out of 32,600 students who took the exams, more than 30,000 successfully passed this crucial milestone in their academic journey.

The real headline belongs to the girls, who achieved an impressive 96.53% pass rate compared to boys at 92.16%. These young women are showing that when given equal opportunities in education, they can excel at the highest levels.

The success wasn't limited to a few elite schools either. A total of 204 schools achieved perfect 100% pass rates, including 86 government schools serving students from all economic backgrounds.

Neighboring Kallakurichi district posted similar success with a 93.43% pass rate, while 62 out of 228 schools recorded perfect scores. Even in Villupuram district, which ranked lower at 87.77%, over 20,000 students successfully completed their exams.

The triumph extended to Puducherry, where private schools achieved an outstanding 97.83% pass rate. Girls once again led the way with a 98.83% success rate, proving this pattern of female academic achievement spans the entire region.

Perhaps the most heartwarming achievement came from the Anandha Rangapillai Government Special Higher Secondary School for Visually Handicapped and Hearing Impaired in Puducherry. Every single student at this specialized school passed their exams, showing that inclusive education creates real opportunities for all students to succeed.

Across all districts, 119 students scored perfect marks across every subject they attempted. These perfect scores spanned science, mathematics, and even French, demonstrating well-rounded educational excellence.
