Sonakshi Goyal from Kanpur just proved that sometimes the smartest study hack is also the simplest one. The 18-year-old scored an incredible 99.6% on India's national CBSE board exams by creating what she calls her "all-in-one revision book."

Instead of juggling multiple notebooks during study sessions, Sonakshi came up with something brilliantly practical. She wrote her notes on blank sheets and had them bound directly into her NCERT textbooks, placing each handwritten summary right next to the related chapter.

"I got them bound so that all my notes would stay in one place like a book, and I wouldn't have to go through different notebooks during revision," she explained. The result was a personalized study guide that made last-minute cramming virtually unnecessary.

Her approach turned the standard textbook into something more powerful. On one page, students see the original lesson about topics like DNA packaging. On the facing page, they find Sonakshi's own notes, diagrams, and key points about that exact concept.

The science student secured 498 out of 500 marks, but her study routine was refreshingly straightforward. She revised topics the same day they were taught to keep concepts fresh in her mind. She focused on understanding ideas deeply rather than memorizing facts blindly.

Sonakshi also practiced previous years' exam papers regularly to build speed and confidence. Her foundation remained the standard NCERT textbooks, which she read thoroughly before touching any additional study material.
