Indiana Firefighter Saves Baby Deer From Floodwaters

A quick-thinking firefighter turned a routine flood call into an unexpected wildlife rescue when he heard desperate cries coming from the water.

Captain Joe Sinclair of the Madison Township Fire Department in Morgan County, Indiana, was wrapping up a Wednesday call when he noticed something unusual. His crew had just responded to help a driver whose vehicle became stranded in rising floodwaters near Camby.
