Scholarships That Honor Head Start Grads in Indiana

High school seniors across four Indiana counties have a new reason to celebrate this spring as scholarship applications open for students who got their start in early education programs.

The PACE Community Action Agency just launched its annual Judith K. Bobe Scholarship application period for graduating seniors in Knox, Daviess, Greene, and Sullivan counties. The $500 awards specifically honor students who participated in Head Start programs, recognizing both their early commitment to education and their perseverance through graduation.

Over 17 years, PACE has awarded 50 scholarships, creating a legacy of support that follows students from their preschool years all the way to college. Each scholarship represents not just financial help, but recognition that early childhood education creates lasting impact.
