India's Top Students Dream Big After Acing National Exams

When Bisman Singh opened her exam results, she saw 98.75% staring back at her—the highest score in her region for Class 12 Humanities.

The Chandigarh student already cleared her law school entrance exam and credits just 2-3 hours of daily focused study for her success. "We live in such a grey world and law is the only profession that can divide it into black and white," she told reporters about her passion for justice.

Bisman wasn't alone in celebrating. Across the Tricity region, students shattered expectations when India's Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations released results this week.

Thakur Garg topped the science stream with 97.25%, raised by his single mother and grandparents. He discovered his academic potential when he finally shifted focus from debate competitions to his studies in Class 12.

Kaavya Nayyar scored 98.5% in Commerce while training as a national-level swimmer. The aspiring entrepreneur wants to launch her own brand, proving athletic excellence and academic achievement go hand in hand.

In Class 10, Deven Birania and Nancy both earned perfect 99% scores. Deven plans to become both a doctor and entrepreneur, starting a teenage room decor business during medical school.

Nancy, who lives with her property dealer father and homemaker mother, is already preparing for engineering entrance exams. She believes clearing concepts thoroughly is the secret to reaching any goal.

Thakur studied six to eight hours during exams after realizing his potential. Deven dedicated similar time to biology because he genuinely loves the subject, not just the grades.
