A Venezuelan-born manager is leading Italy to heights the country has never reached in baseball, and Monday night he'll face the very nation where he grew up.

Francesco Cervelli, who played 10 seasons in Major League Baseball, is managing Team Italy in the World Baseball Classic semifinals.
