It can also operate independently during power outages, providing backup power when the grid goes down.

The system responds to changing energy demands five times faster than conventional fuel cell systems, thanks to an advanced energy management system. This quick response time means the facility can adapt almost instantly when power needs fluctuate throughout the day.

Tanaka's decision to become a hydrogen energy user themselves adds another layer of significance. Until now, the company focused on developing precious metal materials for hydrogen technologies.
