But the win count isn't the only record Ding is chasing. During his third game, he correctly answered 45 clues in a row, matching a record set by current host Ken Jennings during his legendary 74-game streak back in 2004.

Ding, who wears orange for good luck every game, now sits in sixth place for regular season winnings. His 20-game streak ties him with Julia Collins for seventh place in all-time consecutive wins.

The numbers tell an impressive story. He entered the final round of his 20th game with $32,000, while his opponents Alexandra Leith and Prithish David had just $6,000 and $6,600 respectively.
