Jersey School Celebrates 75 Years, Reconnects Alumni

Beaulieu Convent School in Jersey is celebrating three quarters of a century at its Wellington Hill location, and the school is rolling out the welcome mat for graduates from across the decades.

The milestone marks 75 years at the current site and coincides with 100 years of Catholic education in Jersey. Head teacher Matthew Burke says the double anniversary offers a perfect moment to reflect on the school's impact on thousands of students who walked its halls.

The school launched a fresh alumni initiative encouraging former pupils to reconnect through a dedicated LinkedIn group and direct outreach to staff. It's more than just nostalgia, though. School leaders hope returning graduates will inspire current students by sharing their career paths and life experiences.

Former student Sophia explained why reconnecting matters. "My time at Beaulieu played an important role in shaping the path I went on to take after school," she said. She sees the alumni network as a chance to reflect on those formative years and stay connected to school life again.
