K-Pop Star Lee Know Donates $75K to Nepal Flood Victims

When disaster strikes halfway around the world, sometimes help comes from unexpected places. K-pop star Lee Know just donated 100 million won (roughly $75,000) through World Vision to support families struggling in the aftermath of Nepal's devastating floods.

The Stray Kids member made his donation on August 28 as rescue teams continue working to reach communities cut off by damaged roads and destroyed infrastructure. Thousands of people have lost their homes, and many remain displaced or unaccounted for.

Lee Know's contribution will fund immediate emergency relief including food, temporary shelter, clean water, and sanitation supplies. World Vision also plans to use the funds to help affected families recover their livelihoods as they begin the long process of rebuilding.

Through his agency JYP Entertainment, Lee Know shared why he chose to help. He said he hoped his support could offer "a little strength" to those going through the crisis and expressed his wish that survivors and relief workers could return to peaceful daily lives soon.

This isn't the singer's first time stepping up during a crisis. He has previously supported causes involving healthcare, food security, and children through charitable donations and his ongoing connection with World Vision.
