Kevin Knight Wins First Singles Title One Year Into AEW

When they first met, Allin told the young wrestler one thing: "Do not waste time." Knight took those words to heart, winning the trios championship twice and the TNT title within twelve months.

Now Knight faces Allin himself for the AEW World Championship on Wednesday's "Dynamite." The student challenging the mentor represents a full-circle moment. Knight earned his shot by defeating Maxwell Jacob Friedman while Allin retained his title against Brody King.
