Liverpool Fans Donate £590K to Local Charities

The money comes from events where fans gather with former Liverpool players for fundraising occasions like Christmas lunches, golf days, and special legends matches. What started as a way to keep retired players connected to the club has transformed into a powerhouse of community support.

Among the recipients is Hillsborough Survivors Support Alliance, receiving another £25,000 to fund counseling services for survivors and their families. Alder Hey Children's Hospital got £50,000 toward vital medical equipment for young patients.

Liverpool Women's Hospital will use £50,000 to create a family bereavement suite with better support for grieving fathers. The Alzheimer's Society received £50,000 to continue essential services for people living with dementia across Liverpool.

One particularly meaningful donation goes to a suicide prevention initiative outside Anfield stadium. The £25,000 will fund a permanent structure for "Kicking Off Conversations," helping the matchday mental health program expand and reach more people starting next season.

During the 2025 holiday season, £50,000 funded 2,500 Christmas hampers for Liverpool families in need, including 50 delivered to Zoe's Place, a local children's hospice.
