"I wanted to see the snow outside," Nguyen told ABC 7 Chicago. "And then I noticed a couple with a car on Fayetteville, and it looked like they were dancing."

She posted the video with the caption "A midnight snow engagement in downtown Raleigh." Within 24 hours, it exploded online with over 50,000 likes.

Viewers flooded the comments trying to track down the mystery couple. Some offered to gift them engagement cakes, dinners, and professional photos, convinced they'd witnessed a fairy tale proposal.

But when ABC 7 Chicago finally found the couple, they discovered the truth was even sweeter. The pair was already married.
