Memphis Nurse Opens Affordable Mental Health Clinic

When Dr. Marqueta Abraham opened CLR Mind Psychiatry in Whitehaven, she had one simple mission: make mental health care available to everyone who needs it, no matter what's in their wallet.

As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, Dr. Abraham knows that getting help shouldn't depend on how much money you have. That's why she built her practice around two core values: accessibility and affordability.

Out of 130 submissions from the greater Memphis area, Dr. Abraham won. The recognition took her to Nashville to meet other Remarkable Women from across the country and compete for the national title.
