Michigan Foundation Offers $7,500 Trade Scholarships

Students dreaming of careers in skilled trades just got a financial boost that could change everything.

The Lake Trust Foundation is accepting applications for scholarships designed to launch careers in high-demand fields. Four New Beginnings Scholarships offer up to $7,500 each for students pursuing technical careers like nursing, electrical work, plumbing, construction, welding, HVAC, or emergency medical services.

The money covers exactly what students need most. Tuition, tools, and textbooks are all fair game for scholarship funds.

But there's more. The foundation partnered with Cleary University to offer the Michigan Impact Scholarship, which covers full tuition for either undergraduate or graduate programs. Students can choose online classes or attend campuses in Howell, Ann Arbor, or Detroit.

These scholarships do more than help individual students pay for school. They're investing in the backbone of Michigan's economy.
