Students, alumni, and fans packed the area outside Crisler Center on Tuesday, April 7, to welcome the championship team home. The crowd erupted in cheers as the team arrived, with Michigan's signature colors visible everywhere you looked.

Diane Gross flew all the way from Colorado with her husband Dave just to be part of the moment. "Welcome home, Go Blue, you're a championship team," she shouted as the players stepped off the bus.

The energy was electric, especially among students who wanted to make the night unforgettable. Pedro Rodrigo, a student from Spain, described the scene: "It was crazy, you know, because we were so hyped. We just wanted to celebrate and make the moment memorable for the rest of our lives."

His fellow Spanish student Bruno LaFontaine captured the spirit perfectly. "Everyone was just laughing and dancing, everyone together. It didn't matter if they were your friend or not. You would just take someone, grab them on the shoulder and start jumping. It was honestly great fun."

Even prospective student Jaylen Booney joined the festivities, getting a taste of what Michigan spirit feels like at its peak.

The championship brought together people from different countries, generations, and backgrounds under one shared joy. Alumni who graduated decades ago celebrated alongside current students and future Wolverines, creating connections that transcend age and geography.
