Miranda Lambert Gives $255K to Animal Shelters Nationwide

Country music star Miranda Lambert just made 51 animal shelters very happy.

Through her MuttNation Foundation and partner Tractor Supply Co., Lambert is giving $255,000 to animal welfare groups across America. One shelter or foster rescue in each state will receive a surprise $5,000 grant through the Mutts Across America program, plus one bonus "Wildcard" shelter named after Lambert's Grammy-winning 2019 album.

The best part? Nobody can apply or campaign for the money.

"Mutts Across America is one of my favorite MuttNation programs because it lets us show our appreciation to the people at the shelters who are doing the hard work every day," Lambert said. The grants arrive completely unexpected, recognizing workers who often labor without recognition or resources.

Tractor Supply Co. has partnered with MuttNation for years, deepening their decades-long commitment to animal welfare. "At Tractor Supply, caring for pets and animals isn't just part of our business—it's core to who we are," said Kimberley Gardiner, the company's chief marketing officer.
