Nepal Pilot Flies Into Floods to Save Stranded Families

When floods swept through Nepal's Himalayan region in September 2026, Captain Priya Adhikari didn't hesitate to fly straight into the disaster zone.

As communities became stranded in narrow mountain valleys, Captain Adhikari piloted rescue helicopter after rescue helicopter through some of the most treacherous terrain she'd ever navigated.
