All 32 NHL teams will be represented by adoptable pups from Pennsylvania's Brandywine Valley SPCA, each sporting playful names inspired by hockey stars. Patrick Kanine, Cole Pawfield, and Quinn Chews are just a few of the contestants ready to steal hearts and score forever homes.

The competition has quickly become a fan favorite since its debut. A recent promo video posted to the NHL's Instagram racked up over 25,000 likes in just two days, proving that hockey fans have big hearts for four-legged friends.

"This event has quickly become a fan favorite tradition, blending the competitive spirit of the NHL with the mission of finding homes for animals in need," said Steve Mayer, NHL president of content and events. When dogs like Matthew Schaefurry and Macklin Celewienie find families because of Stanley Pup, the league knows the show has real impact.
