Nigeria Church Draws Ministers from 71 Countries

Christian ministers traveled from every inhabited continent to gather under one roof in Nigeria's capital city last week, proving that faith still unites people across borders.

The Dunamis International Gospel Church hosted its annual International Ministers' Flaming Fire Conference from August 25 to 30 at their 100,000-seat Glory Dome in Abuja. Ministers and delegates arrived from 71 countries spanning Australia to Brazil, Saudi Arabia to Sweden, and everywhere in between.

Becky Enenche, wife of senior pastor Paul Enenche, shared that attendance grew throughout the week. The first day drew representatives from 43 countries, which jumped to 63 by day two and reached 71 by the conference's end. Thousands more joined online, particularly during the Friday night vigil that stretched into Saturday morning.

The gathering brought together clergy from wealthy Western nations and developing African countries alike. Pastors from the United States, Canada, and Norway worshipped alongside colleagues from Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, and South Sudan. Representatives from China, India, the Philippines, and dozens of other nations filled the massive auditorium.

Throughout the five days, ministers alternated leading morning and evening sessions focused on the theme "Occupy till I Come." Pastor Paul Enenche opened the conference with a healing service and delivered multiple sermons exploring what it means for Christians to steward their communities while awaiting Jesus's return.

This conference represents more than just religious gathering. In a world often divided by politics, economics, and geography, over 100,000 people chose to invest time and money traveling to Nigeria for peaceful spiritual renewal.

The Dunamis Church has made international connection a priority, organizing 43 local and international crusades this year alone. Their August calendar included three major conferences: the youth gathering, a children's event that drew 20,000 kids, and this international ministers' summit.
