Nigeria's Airports Earn Global Quality Certifications

Nigeria's airport system just joined the ranks of world-class aviation hubs with a major quality upgrade.

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) earned two coveted ISO certifications that recognize its commitment to quality service and environmental responsibility. The dual achievement marks a significant milestone for air travel across Africa's most populous nation.

FAAN received ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management Systems and ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management Systems from MSECB Management Systems Inc, a Canadian certification body. Managing Director Olubunmi Kuku accepted the formal recognition at the agency's Lagos headquarters on Monday.
