Nike Builds 1,677-Piece Soccer Field That Goes Anywhere

Imagine playing soccer on a snowy mountain peak, a desert plateau, or a remote island—and leaving no trace behind.

Nike's ACG brand just made that possible with the All Conditions Cup System, a fully portable soccer field that packs into 1,677 easy-to-carry components. The entire setup assembles like a giant tent and breaks down just as quickly.

The creative agency Amsterdam Berlin designed the kit to include everything needed for a real game. Goals, field lines, chairs, lights, and even whistles all pack into pieces light enough to carry on foot or haul with sleds.

The field itself uses minimal neon orange straps staked into the ground to mark the playing zones. No permanent structures, no concrete, no environmental damage.

The heavier pieces like goals, four 7-meter-tall floodlights, and 80 chairs are built from 50-millimeter recycled aluminum tubes. Custom click-fit connectors let anyone snap the pieces together without tools or special training.

ACG tested the system on a snowy mountainside in Piedmont, Italy, for an immersive five-on-five match. The field was erected specifically to launch a new apparel collection with Italian soccer club Inter Milan.

Why This Inspires

While billion-dollar stadiums permanently reshape cities and landscapes, this kit does the opposite. It brings professional-quality sports infrastructure to remote communities and wild places without leaving a footprint.

The design proves that great sports experiences don't require massive permanent facilities. A beach in the Philippines, a clearing in Alaska, or a plateau in Morocco could all host organized games with the same quality setup.

The system also democratizes access to proper sports equipment. Communities without resources for permanent fields can still give their players regulation goal posts, proper lighting, and spectator seating.

Now the beautiful game can truly be played anywhere, by anyone, without harming the places we love.
