Non-Coder Builds Custom App Using AI in One Afternoon

Lee Hutchinson spent his entire career knowing he'd never be a programmer, and he was fine with that.

The project solved a real problem. Hutchinson manages web hosting for Space City Weather, a Houston forecasting site that was experiencing mysterious caching issues. Off-the-shelf tools couldn't give him the customized view he needed to diagnose the problem.

So he asked an AI to build one for him. Within an afternoon, he had working software tailored to his exact specifications.

This represents something bigger than one person's productivity win. For decades, coding has been a gatekeeper skill that determined who could and couldn't bring their ideas to life digitally.
