Oklahoma School Throws Party for Dog to Help Animals

A school dog's birthday party is bringing a community together to help animals in need.

Ralphie, a beloved black lab at Gateway Success Center in Lawton, Oklahoma, will celebrate his 13th birthday on February 2nd. The party happens from 9:30 to 10 a.m. at the Douglass Learning Center cafeteria.

This marks the eighth year the school has thrown Ralphie a birthday bash. But the celebration is about more than cake and candles.

All donations collected at the party go directly to Lawton Animal Welfare. The organization helps care for homeless and abandoned animals throughout the community.
