Osbournes Raise £4.5M for Prince William's Homeless Charity

A mother and daughter are turning nostalgia into hope for thousands of young people facing homelessness across the UK.

Sharon and Kelly Osbourne are bringing back their reality TV magic for a cause close to Prince William's heart. The duo will star in a promotional campaign for Omaze's latest prize draw, giving away a £5 million mansion while raising £4.5 million for Centrepoint, the homelessness charity championed by the future King.

Kelly, 41, made the charity element non-negotiable. "I said I'd only do this if the charity side was really meaningful," she revealed. "I wanted Omaze to match the value of the house and they pretty much have."

The donation represents the largest single gift in Centrepoint's 55-year history. Founded in 1969, the organization supports thousands of vulnerable young people every year through shelters and programs across London.

Prince William's connection to Centrepoint runs deep. His late mother Diana first introduced him to the charity's work as a child, showing him the shelters where homeless young people found refuge. Now as royal patron, he's made ending homelessness one of his defining causes.

The Ripple Effect

Kelly's passion for the cause has grown beyond just cutting a check. She plans to meet Prince William at a September gala with ideas for expanding the charity's reach. "I won't rest until we end homelessness, which is a pledge the future King holds," she said.

Sources close to Centrepoint say William has been deeply moved by the scale of Kelly's fundraising efforts and commitment. The timing feels especially meaningful for Kelly, who recently lost her father Ozzy and has channeled her grief into charitable work.

The campaign features Sharon, 73, and Kelly touring the Georgian-style Omaze house while flipping through photo albums from their chaotic family reality show days. One lucky winner will receive the fully furnished countryside mansion, complete with landscaped gardens and sweeping rural views.

Since 2020, Omaze has raised over £100 million for UK charities including the British Heart Foundation and Teenage Cancer Trust. Each house draw guarantees at least £1 million for the chosen organization.

Centrepoint CEO Seyi Obakin praised the partnership: "Kelly and Sharon's generosity, together with their commitment to ending youth homelessness, has made possible a truly inspiring campaign."

King Charles personally wrote to Sharon after Ozzy's death last summer, a gesture Kelly described as "so kind" and one Sharon treasures on her bedside table.

The campaign launches this week, turning family memories into meaningful change for young people who need it most.
