Possum Hides Among Plush Toys in Hobart Airport Shop

That's exactly what happened at Hobart Airport in Tasmania when staff found a real possum nestled among the stuffed animals in the gift shop's native wildlife section. The clever marsupial had made itself comfortable around 11:45 am, looking so at home that it nearly fooled everyone.

Liam Bloomfield, multi-site manager at the airport, said the possum seemed perfectly content sitting with its plush lookalikes. "It looked like he was pretty comfortable with his friends there," he told ABC Australia.

The possum appeared calm at first, seemingly unbothered by its unexpected indoor adventure. But the real excitement started when the animal decided to explore beyond the gift shop.
