Rochester Volunteers Ship 32nd Container of Aid to Ukraine

Volunteers in Webster, New York spent their Saturday doing something extraordinary: loading hospital beds, wheelchairs, medical backpacks, and dental equipment into a massive shipping container destined for Ukraine.

This wasn't their first rodeo. Container 32 marks another milestone for RocMaidan, a volunteer organization that has been steadily sending medical and humanitarian aid across the Atlantic since the conflict began.

"The items that are going to be arriving in Ukraine in a few weeks will be distributed around the country," said Tim Sukhenko, board member and volunteer. Box trucks bearing the RocMaidan logo will carry these supplies to communities and frontline medics who need them most.

The shipment includes first aid kits, walkers, crutches, and specialized medical backpacks designed for combat medics. Each piece of equipment represents a chance to save lives and restore dignity to people facing unimaginable challenges.

What started as a local effort in upstate New York has created a lifeline spanning thousands of miles. RocMaidan's consistent presence means Ukrainian hospitals can plan around incoming supplies, and medics on the front lines know help is coming.
