Saudi Arabia to Train and Hire 5,500 Citizens This Year

Saudi Arabia just launched a program that will help 5,500 citizens gain the skills and jobs they need to build lasting careers.

The Human Resources Development Fund signed an agreement with Human Resources Management and Development Co. to train, empower, and employ thousands of Saudi nationals. Prince Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, governor of the Al-Qassim region, attended the signing ceremony in Riyadh.

The program offers employment support, on-the-job training, online learning, and empowerment courses. Participants will gain practical skills that match what private companies actually need, making them more competitive in today's fast-changing job market.

This isn't just another government initiative. The partnership brings together public resources and private sector expertise to create real, sustainable jobs rather than temporary positions.

The Ripple Effect

The impact is already visible across Saudi Arabia. In 2025, the fund helped more than 560,000 Saudi citizens secure private sector jobs, a 29 percent jump from the previous year.

The organization invested over $2.21 billion in training and guidance programs that reached more than 2 million Saudis. That's serious money going directly into developing people's potential and preparing them for careers that didn't exist a generation ago.

The Al-Qassim region will see particularly strong benefits, with new employment opportunities strengthening the local economy. As more Saudis gain skills and find work, entire communities become more prosperous and self-sufficient.
