HTX, Singapore's Home Team Science and Technology Agency, signed an agreement with South Korea's National IT Industry Promotion Agency on March 2, 2026. The signing was witnessed by Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and South Korea President Lee Jae Myung, underscoring how seriously both nations take this collaboration.

The partnership focuses on four key areas that promise real innovation. Both agencies will match companies with technologies that solve public safety challenges, particularly in AI and digital applications. The timing reflects deepening ties between the two nations. Singapore and South Korea upgraded their relationship to a Strategic Partnership in November 2025, and this MOU was one of six agreements signed that same day.
