Stars of Science Seeks Arab Innovators Ages 18-35

Young Arab innovators now have until June 26, 2026, to apply for a chance to turn their boldest ideas into real companies through one of the region's most ambitious entrepreneurship programs.

Qatar Science & Technology Park opened applications for Season 18 of Stars of Science, inviting aspiring engineers, scientists, designers, and problem-solvers aged 18 to 35 from across the Arab world to compete. For nearly two decades, the program has supported Arab innovators whose ideas have evolved into real ventures addressing global challenges.

This season marks a major evolution. The winner receives far more than prize money: a fully supported venture-building experience in Qatar including mentorship, strategic guidance, office space, operational support, and access to interns within one of the region's leading innovation ecosystems.

"Anyone with an idea can apply, regardless of access to resources or networks," said Rama Chakaki, President of QSTP. The program seeks to give ambitious youth the tools to transform bold ideas into lasting ventures using science, technology, and AI.

The show itself is getting a major upgrade. Internationally acclaimed executive producer Andrea Hamilton, whose credits include The Voice and So You Think You Can Dance, is leading a new creative direction designed to bring more scale, emotion, and cinematic storytelling to Arab innovation stories.

"We want audiences to connect not only with the inventions, but with the people brave enough to imagine them," Hamilton explained. Produced in both Arabic and English, the series will reach audiences across the Arab world and internationally.

The Ripple Effect

The program's focus reflects where technology is heading. Applicants working in AI, robotics, climate innovation, health tech, fashion tech, gaming, and digital design are especially encouraged to apply.

From ethical AI and sustainability to mobility and human connectivity, Season 18 spotlights the ideas and technologies shaping tomorrow while celebrating the Arab talent leading that transformation. The program positions itself at the intersection of innovation and entrepreneurship, creating a bridge between brilliant concepts and viable businesses.

Filming will take place in Qatar later this year, giving selected participants access to world-class resources and mentorship. Applications are open now through the Stars of Science website, welcoming anyone from the Arab world or global Arab diaspora with an idea worth building.
