Surat-Mangaluru Train Becomes Permanent After Huge Demand

Business travelers between Gujarat and Karnataka just got some fantastic news. The beloved Surat-Mangaluru Junction express train will become a permanent service starting June 3rd, bringing ticket prices down significantly.

Now, after more than a year of proving its worth, the train earns its permanent status. Train 19057 will depart Surat on Sundays and Wednesdays at 7:35 pm, arriving in Mangaluru Junction the next evening. The return journey leaves Mangaluru on Mondays and Thursdays at 10:30 pm.

The route winds through 35 stations along India's stunning western coast, connecting commercial powerhouses with beach towns and everything in between. Passengers travel through Maharashtra, Goa, and Karnataka, passing through cities like Madgaon, Karwar, and Udupi on their 24-hour journey.
