Swift and Kelce Give $26M to Charities Before Wedding

Hours before saying "I do," Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce said yes to helping millions of people in need with a stunning $26 million donation to charities across America.

The couple spread their wedding weekend joy to at least 20 organizations on Thursday, turning their celebration into a nationwide moment of giving. The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank received $1 million to help feed the 1.1 million people they serve each month.

Feeding America got $2 million from the pair to fight hunger nationwide. Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, which mails free books to children, also received $2 million to keep filling young minds with stories.

The remaining donations went to animal welfare organizations, educational programs, and three children's hospitals. Each gift arrived just hours before the couple's wedding festivities began at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

David May, senior director of marketing at the LA Regional Food Bank, highlighted something bigger than the dollar amount. "Not only did they make an incredible contribution, but they inspire people all over to get involved and to share the love and to help be part of the solution," he said.

Roger Castle, the food bank's Chief Development Officer, thanked the couple in a video announcement. Their gift comes at a crucial time when food banks across the country are serving record numbers of families struggling to put meals on the table.
