Tata Motors Hits 1 Million EVs at Lucknow Plant

After three decades of manufacturing in India, Tata Motors just rolled out its one-millionth vehicle from its Lucknow facility, and the milestone vehicle is a zero-emission electric bus that signals where the automotive industry is heading.

The achievement marks a remarkable journey for the 600-acre plant that opened its doors in 1992. Since then, it has grown into a powerhouse producing trucks and buses across multiple powertrains, including electric and fuel-cell vehicles that are reshaping how India moves.
