Teen Snowboarder Mia Brookes Reaches First Olympic Final

Nineteen-year-old snowboarding sensation Mia Brookes just punched her ticket to Olympic history with a spot in Monday's big air final. If she medals, she'll become Britain's youngest Winter Olympic medalist since 1948.

The young athlete showed nerves of steel after overcooking her first landing in Sunday's qualifying rounds at Livigno. Rather than panic, Brookes stayed relaxed and nailed her second attempt, scoring a combined 167 points to qualify in third place.
