Tennessee Softball Team Wins State Championship 3-1

The final out happened, and the tears started flowing. Tipton-Rosemark Academy's softball team just won their first state championship in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, beating Boyd Buchanan High School 3-1.

Pitcher Lanie Howe stood at the center of it all, overwhelmed with emotion as her teammates rushed to celebrate. The senior had just pitched her team to victory in the 2026 TSAA Division II-A state championship game.
