The feature maintains your preferred cabin temperature and keeps USB and 12V outlets powered so you can charge phones, tablets, and other devices throughout the night. Drivers simply fold down the rear seats, inflate an air mattress, and activate the mode through the vehicle's touchscreen.

Tesla showcased the feature on YouTube using a Model Y small SUV. While the compact interior might not rival a full RV, Camp Mode solves a problem that makes traditional car camping miserable: running the engine or draining the battery to stay warm or cool.
