Texas Hat Party Raises $100K for Affordable Housing

A backyard concert turned into a housing revolution last week when Montgomery County, Texas residents raised nearly $100,000 for families dreaming of homeownership.

Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County hosted its Hats for Homes fundraiser at the home of David and Laura Piccione. The evening featured Texas country legends Pat Green and Walt Wilkins performing private sets that had guests singing along under the stars.
