Thailand Opens Visa-Free Entry for 93 Countries

Thailand also expanded its Visa on Arrival program from 31 to 39 countries, making last-minute travel planning even simpler. Visitors can now get their visa stamps right at immigration checkpoints without advance applications.

The government is specifically targeting affluent retirees with revised long-stay visa criteria. Officials hope these visitors will boost local economies through spending on real estate, healthcare tourism, and extended services that benefit Thai communities.
