The Jussiyeh crossing near Homs has become a major entry point. Medical teams stationed there greet arrivals with ambulances and first aid stations, ready to help anyone who needs care after long waits or difficult travel conditions. Staff collected personal information to help returnees legalize their status through official channels.

Among those returning are Syrians who left recently and others who fled years ago during Syria's civil war. One woman told reporters that Israeli shelling forced her decision despite administrative hurdles on the Lebanese side. A man escaping Beirut described running from strikes and damaged roads, saying people now "feel at home" in Syria because of the sense of security compared to bombed areas of Lebanon.

The main Masnaa crossing in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley saw similar scenes. Long lines of cars loaded with belongings stretched in both directions as families waited their turn to cross. Some Lebanese authorities required returnees who entered illegally to pay fines before granting exit permits, causing delays that occasionally led to tensions.
