Tiger Woods' Son Charlie Commits to Florida State Golf

The next generation of Woods family golf excellence is heading to Tallahassee.

Charlie Woods, son of 15-time major champion Tiger Woods, announced on Instagram Monday that he's committed to play college golf at Florida State. "Go Noles!" the high schooler posted on his 17th birthday, adding another chapter to his family's storied golf legacy.

The young athlete has already made impressive strides in competitive golf. He won the Team TaylorMade Invitational in May and drilled a hole-in-one at the legendary TPC Sawgrass in August.

Charlie has also gained attention playing alongside his father at the PNC Championship every year from 2020 to 2024. The father-son duo finished second place twice, in 2021 and 2024, showcasing their natural chemistry on the course.

Currently ranked 21st in the American Junior Golf Association, Charlie finished tied for ninth at the Junior PGA Championship last August. He's building his own reputation one tournament at a time, stepping out from his father's enormous shadow with grace and skill.
