New Haven's Bulldogs made history Saturday by advancing to the Class 3A state finals for the first time ever. The team earned their spot with a commanding 63-49 win over Delta, followed by a nail-biting 59-55 victory against conference rival Columbia City in the semi-state championship.

Westview's Warriors also had a stellar day on the court. They secured their fourth-ever trip to state finals in Class 2A with a narrow 65-62 win over Lapel, then dominated Bishop Luers 69-48 in the semi-state championship game.

Both teams now face their toughest challenges yet. New Haven will square off against Indianapolis Cathedral on Saturday at 6 p.m. for the Class 3A state title. Westview takes on Parke Heritage earlier that day at approximately 12:45 p.m. in the Class 2A final.
